Small Group Horsemanship

Introduction to Horsemanship

A 3-part series | Small group | Maximum 4 students

Ages 5+. Parents Must stay with children under 8

Horses are honest. They sense what we're feeling before we say a word- which makes them some of the best teacher a child can have.
In this 3-part series, you child will learn to meet a horse with calm, earn its trust, and care for it with their own hands. We go slow on purpose. Small groups, unhurried sessions, and lots of real time with real horses. What grows here isn't just skills- it's confidence, presence, and a kind of quiet that kids carry with them off the farm.
Session 1: Learn to approach, read body language, and settle your own energy before asking anything of a horse. We talk about what horses feel, how they communicate, and how staying calm opens the door to connection.
Session 2: Haltering, leading, growing, and hoof care. Children learn the rhythm of caring for a horse and discover that trust is built in these quiet, ordinary moments.
Session 3: Bring it all together. Lead with intention, communicate without words, and feel what 3 week of showing up has built between you and the horse.
No experience needed. Just closed-toe shoes and a willingness to connect.

Cost: $75 for the series
