Our Team

Bailey Whiffen

Bailey Whiffen recently joined our farm as our Farm School Educator. She completed her B.S at SUNY-ESF in Conservation Biology and her M.S.T at SUNY Oswego in Adolescent Education in Biology. Bailey worked on a variety of farms throughout  Central NY until she landed herself in a role teaching  Middle School  Science in Syracuse City School District.  She quickly realized she loved the living world and farming just  as much as education and decided  to make the jump to combine the two.  Bailey is excited to bring her knowledge and passion to our Farm School and to help connect youth to the living world as well as their food.

Dan Edmonds

Dan Edmonds is the Lead Survival Instructor and Founder of Ranger's Ridge. Dan started Ranger's Ridge to help individuals handle their own hardships and come to the aid of others with grace & kindness. Dan is an apprentice instructor under Joshua Enyart from GB2 (GRAYBEARDEDGREENBERET) and won Master Navigator Top Team. He is a Wilderness First Responder and committed to helping students gain confidence and real skills in the wilderness. Dan is a skilled archer, placing in the top 4 participants two years in a row at the Gander Mountain Compound Bow Archery Tournament. Since then, his focus has turned away from compound bows towards the harder challenge of traditional archery. Now he exclusively practices, hunts, and teaches only with recurves and longbows. Dan even takes it further as he learns to build his own bows off the landscape. His success at teaching these archery skills to others has created students that go on as talented and skilled archers themselves.

All of our teachers undergo extensive background checks from an independent Agency, including but not limited to CORI & SoRI checks.
